Conjuring Winter Fashion with Fash Flood.
This month Coriander teamed up with Fash Flood to bring a little mystery and intrigue into our latest fashion editorial.
I can’t not say it: I am really proud of this shoot! If you had watched what was required to get these shots, you would most likely have laughed. We practiced poses and positioned ourselves for optimal back light. Once we got everything just right, two people would have the time sensitive task of lighting the smoke bombs, then they would run back and forth between each click of the shutter, creating a backdrop of smoke. At the end of the day our fingers were burnt by the fire works and our eyes blood shot from the smoke, but we were moved by the mystical moments we created in the woods.
We were thrilled to work with Omaha based fashion blogger Sarah Lorsung Tvrdik of Fash Flood on this month’s photo shoot. See more photos from this shoot on her blog HERE. Many thanks to Hooton Images and Michelle Beran for their dedication and meticulous attention to detail- they truly are artists!
