Paige Reitz: Featured Re-inventer
I have an affinity for re-invention. Taking something old and making it into something new brings me joy. I’ve found a kindred spirit for re-inventing clothes in this beautiful woman named Paige.
Paige is someone who you noticed right when she walks in the room. If not for her beaming smile its her eye catching stylish digs.
It is my hope that you too have someone in your life, like Paige, that inspires and draws out the creative parts in you that dare you to make bolder choices in your wardrobe. I’m excited to show you this selection of garments that she has re-invented.
I love this alteration! She simply added a scarf to the neckline of a shirt. So smart!

This one, she removed the collar on the flannel and added tabs to hold up the cuffed sleeves.
Here is another lovely handmade dress
.
This detachable collar was patterned by a woman that Paige met at her grandmother’s funeral. Paige complimented the woman on her collar. Being touched by such an acknowledgment, the woman made a pattern for her and sent it to her by mail.
I love her solution for the unsightly elastic that was cinching in the sides of this denim top.
Another pair of altered vintage pants.
Reinforcing my belief that a simple change can make all the difference, Paige embellished this shirt with her custom utensil silk screen.
